GEC’s ’97 Pattern Knives Are Here

The American Whittler run of the #97 Coke Bottle pattern knives are in and available for purchase. This pattern has been referred to as a large hunter pattern, measuring at 4.75 inches long closed. The 1095 master blade is saber ground with double pulls. It is stamped with the Northfield brand and has a bold “American” etch right in the middle. The scales are antique yellow jigged bone. The #13 Congress Whittlers are Available

The run of the #13 Congress pattern American Whittlers are in and available for purchase. The 1095 blades are stamped with the Northfield brand. An “American” etch was added to the master blade – simply stated. The liners and tapered center spacer are made from brass. This time there is a choice of two handle materials. One is jigged chestnut dyed bone and the other (shown below) is African Blackwood. Email humenick@rocketmail.com for ordering details.

Congress Whittlers will be arriving soon.

The Northfield #13 pattern Congress Whittlers will be available in two handles materials. One will have peachseed jigged chestnut dyed bone (similar to the bone on the American Whittler 38’s). The other handle will be African Blackwood. Both will have the very nice “crown” shield shown in the label art depicted below.

The 98 Whittlers have started to arrive.

Things are beginning to happen with regard to the latest American Whittler offering. The 98 pattern whittlers are starting to arrive. These large whittlers have snakewood scales and rounded nickel silver bolsters. Large but not bulky. Great Eastern did a fantastic job with the proportions on this run. The liners and tapered center spacer are made from brass. The 1095 blades are stamped with the Northfield brand. This time around, an “American Whittler” etch was added to the master blade. This run is limited to 50 knives. Each knife is shipped in a tube with custom artwork. A commemorative button is included.
